The war in Gaza has been raging for over a year. Tens of thousands have been killed, over a hundred thousand wounded and millions displaced. The war has been characterised by systematic war crimes and crimes against humanity, which many observers describe as genocide against the Palestinian people of Gaza. Recently, Al Jazeera released a documentary that serves as a condensed summary of one year of atrocities. It is based mainly on Israeli soldiers‘ own accounts, through videos posted on social media. We spoke to the film’s director, Richard Sanders.
